About
I design systems.
I also build them.
I am a technical architect and applied AI engineer with more than twelve years across production software, distributed systems, regulated data and technical delivery.
My interest in reliability did not start with language models. Work at The Pensions Regulator, SSE and VRAI meant dealing with late data, duplicated messages and unreliable connections. Somebody had to operate the result after the delivery team moved on.
I bring those habits to AI. My current work includes Python evaluation and orchestration, retrieval applications and Agent Skills. Models can retrieve, classify and propose. Application code owns permissions, state and consequential actions.
I work through Personal Goals Pursuit Ltd, moving between discovery, architecture, implementation and handover. I prefer a small prototype that answers a difficult question to a large system built around an untested assumption. Alongside client work, I build independent projects and write about what I learn.
